my wife fell down and busted something in her shoulder. She's trying to see if she can still bass effectively before we go to the ortho in some hours. So far she just picked out Ride of the Valkyriez (sp?) and is being taunted into doing Dixie. On the P bass. Yup. That's it honey.

Plastic Beach is basically almost perfect to my ears. I love it more than Demon Days if that is at all possible.

I am giving Morbid Angel my first listen. Starting with Altars of Madness. It holds up pretty well, I guess.
I heard great things about their lead guitarist, though so far it seems like his soloing is less good in the sense of being catchy and unique and more good in the sense of "what exactly in the fucking fuck is he playing there."
Also, it makes me wonder why all those deathcore bands try and sound heavy by playing lots of breakdowns, when they could sound like this instead.

Today I listened to AFX/Aphex Twin's entire Analord series while cleaning my room. It was all kinds of productive, although now I keep hearing bleeps and static long after I already finished listening to them.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Chu Chu Lovely Muni Muni Mura Mura Purin Purin Boron Nurururerorero
by Maximum the Hormone.
damndest thing though... while this band is as obnoxious as that title Implies.
they are also awesome.
To be quite honest, the CD that song is on is one of my favorite albums ever. yeah! I don't normally go for the Japanese stuff... but these guys are just so... Amusing? skilled? spastic? heavy-ish?

Pixies - "Tony's Theme"
Seeing these muthaluvvers in a week.
It's probably a little cliche at this point but the Pixies were one of those bands that got me into "alternative" music.

Moments Of Clarity from Joram. Interesting, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it.
