alright, first thing I did in the demo (besides fall to my death several times) was tether my car to a statue, but the car wasn't powerful enough to tear it down so it became a 2000 pound Tetherball of Death instead.
I seriously must have killed ten soldiers just swinging my car in a circle around that statue.
viva la just cause 2!

I'll keep an eye out, then...I really want to buy this game, but funds are pretty much non-existent at the moment. If I get hired at the place I interviewed at this week, that will be one of my first purchases, after the Dragon Age expansion because shit yeah I love my Bioware.

Play high speed shooting gallery, see how many guys with guns you can catch and successfully tether to a moving vehicle. Bikes are worth one, four wheeled vehicle passengers are worth five, dudes on the side of the road are worth ten. Scoring round ends when you hit something, re-enter your vehicle, or die. Mid-air catches net a double point bonus. |

1) "YOU THINK YOU CAN CHASE ME FOREVER? CHASE THIS" *drives off of cliff and opens parachute, watching both vehicles explode at cliff bottom*
2) "GUESS WHAT. FUCK YOU" *pulls down statue with jeep*
3) "I BET YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE A FUCKING BIG MAN, HUH" *hijacks military helicopter and blows up three cranes*
4) "I RUUUUUUUUUUUUUULE" *tethers guy to propane tank and shoots it, causing him to fly and explode and a bunch of other gas canisters to fire off in a hideous volley of death, watches from side of building as everything dies*

The German version came with a map and a lighter and either iron-on or sew-on faction patches, but the US one doesn't come with that cool stuff, so it isn't worth it. Metro 2033's weapons make me nerd rage a little bit. Every one of the post-apocalyptic weapons I've seen has one major consistent flaw that none of you care about. I'm still going to get it eventually, it just annoys me. |

I've got a problem with a magazine design that everyone knows doesn't work for crap, and has demonstrated that consistently since WW1. Having big holes in your magazines to get dirt and crap clogged in them isn't good, especially not in an environment like Metro 2033's.
