hahaha

I want to break this down. What this part specifically means.
Ha, generally repeated up to or more than two times, indicates showing the text form of verbal laughter. While you put it forward as if there was laughter, the following image did not in any way incite laughter. It is as if you are adding the laughs with no prior thought as to what you are doing.
You are truly devaluing the repetition of the sound "ha." I must politely ask that you cease and desist this immediately or further action may have to be taken.
Thank you in advance sir or madam.

I am interested in this intellectual debate!  I feel that I cannot make an informed stance at the moment, but I will research the matter.

We shouldn't take the colours being inverted as they are. They represent the girl's current state of mind; here everything she has ever believed in - asking boys out, buying a simple coffee and even her work - is being slowly destroyed by the appearance of Marten and Dora. She realises that no matter she does in life she shall find heself reminded of those two, slowly torturing her; constantly playing out her mind that she was threatened with a sword, she caused a couple to argue over TWO comic pages, making the readers having to sit through it and thus she has decided to give up on her sanity.

Tomorrow's comic: she slashes her cat's throat and paints her walls with his remains, laughing hysterically, her eyes bloodshot and her state of mind completely destoryed.

Thanks, mate. Good comic!

I believe "moar" was intentional, in the manner of "teh".
If you were attempting metahumor by ironically pointing out "misspelling" I apologise for ruining the joke.

Proposed ending to 1377

Same scene as panel 5

Girl running away screaming

Dora "Err"
Martin "Ummm"
Dora whispering "Do you think we should leave"
Martin whispering back "Yes.... Yes, I think we should"

After all the girl was embarrassed twice prior and all the sudden the two people that she was embarrassed in front of appear at her table.

My alternate ending to comic 1377 is to remove the final panel.

My alternate ending to 1377 is that everything happens exactly the same way, except that the waiter is someone entirely different.

EDIT: the dropping of things stays.

My alternate ending to comic 1377 is to remove the final panel.

That's usually the best thing you can do to a QC comic.

I got it.

Budget movies and TV shows invert the colors of the screen (and usually go into slow motion) during 'scary' scenes. It's a cheap alternative to real special effects.  grin

Off the top of my head, the old video game Resident Evil 3 also used color inversion extensively for "scary scenes" - and during interactive cutscenes.

This is probably where you're going wrong. You're thinking that is a nice place to reference that you come from.
