I still like the very first Cloverfield teaser better -- but this one was pretty damn impressive.

Aside of that, it sure has the taste of "Alien Nation" Remake to me. Makes me wonder if those aliens get drunk on sour milk too?

Alien Nation is the first thing that popped into my head. I'm pretty okay if they can make a proper reimagining of such a great movie.

It's an expansion of a short film by the same director from 2005 called "Alive in Joburg." Though there's probably influence there, AFAIK it's neither a full remake or direct reimagining of Alien Nation.
