Oh. Wow. Nobody's posted a thread yet. Gee. You see, I don't have the bona fides for this, but WTF, eh?
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!! OMG, WTF is he all right?

No damage, just another thread was posted while I was exhibiting manual dexterity.

I just wanted to say that I was raised in a community that was like 80% Norwegian so watching Dora go blond is like a major turnoff. Ebony tresses, now that's exotic and tres sexy.

Just noticed that in panel two Dora's right arm is chunkier than her left. I thought that only happened with guys, and only with guys without girlfriends at that. And no, you can't measure my biceps.

I can identify with Marten here (maybe for the first time).  My favorite hoodie is also falling apart.  It sucks, cos it is so comfortable and fits perfectly.  I already lost my favorite pair of jeans to the ravages of time.  Le sigh.

@ Jarvis - Maybe she just washed the hoodie because the french fry smell bothered her so much.

The comic reads as if he has only one hoodie - but he's told us he's got lots.

And "pace" is correct.

Your Latin-to-English dictionary obviously doesn't feel the need to decline its nouns.

Technically, pace is the singular Ablative case of the noun pax. Of course you could just say "Rest In Peace" but everything sounds cooler in Latin.

And yeah, I thought Marten had a breeding colony of black hoodies in the back of his wardrobe.

It isn't just the hoodie, Dora has been washing his underwear too: can't find the strip number, but she tells Hannelore that Marten's laundry is free of skid marks.

In other words, Latin is the 'slow-motion' of languages? I can see that.

As for Dora washing Marten's clothes, I think that's moving a bit fast. Next he's going to be taking out her garbage. And then...then someone (guess who) gets assigned the role of dish-washer. (And never mind if you have a dishwasher—teh womens insist on pre-washing).

(And never mind if you have a dishwasher—teh womens insist on pre-washing).

Older dishwashers couldn't handle more stuff on the dishes than a little grease, so you had to do this. Of course, now dishwashers often have a garbage disposal built in to the drain and run commercials where they put in a plate with an entire chocolate cake on it, so I'm guessing this doesn't apply as much anymore.

Why? IS she too strong, intelligent, and fiercely independant to help out with normal chores now?

Seriously guys, it's pretty obvious she's not a goth anymore, and its never stated that Marten doesn;t take turns doing this stuff too.

Who knows, perhaps Jeph is considering having them tie the knot? Could be an interesting arc.

50-50 on certain chores is one thing, but I have to agree on confusion over why a woman who doesn't live with her boyfriend would be doing his laundry. I live with my boyfriend and I NEVER do his laundry (though he does occasionally add some of mine to his loads.)

And uh, ladies could easily have larger right hands. For all sorts of reasons, some more eyebrow-worthy than others. Seriously, I was just thinking how worthless my left arm is in some ways. All about the right hand. If you fellows know what I am saying.

Maybe, one of them does not have facilities in their building, and the other does. In that case wouldn't it be natural for them to share laundry responsibilities simply as a matter of convienience?

Also, love Dora's reaction in Panel three.

Indeed. Its not like Marty is sitting around on the couch in a stained wife beater, bottle of Coors in hand, watching NASCAR while Dora frets around in an oversized Brooks & Dunn t-shirt, barefooted and fixing her man a steakum sammich.

Edit: Craziness in panel five would make a great shirt/print.
