its never stated that Marten doesn't take turns doing this stuff too.

Like this & this, for instance?

But I can imagine Dora kidnapping his hoodie to wash if it smells too much.

Jeph did say once that none of the characters are close to being grown up enough to make a marriage work.
Given the people I've known in real life who didn't let that stop them, it would be pretty realistic if Marten and Dora rushed into it only to have everything end in flames a couple years later.

Amount of QC characters to have displayed a smile that will give you nightmares: 2 (two).

Oh, hey, that reminds me, can anyone look up the strip with Faye's crazy smirk? I have a nice idea.

Why does Dora do his laundry?  They don't even live together...  Vomit.
My thoughts exactly. Well, that, and I actually find it very hard to believe that Dora would do his laundry for him. It doesn't seem to fit her character.

Why? IS she too strong, intelligent, and fiercely independant to help out with normal chores now?

It's not that she wouldn't ever help out with chores, it's just that they don't live together, so it seems bizarre that she'd do his laundry unless she was a real push-over. It'd be different if they lived together but, as it is, it just seems a bit strange.

But, it's just a comic, so whatever. No worries. t-rex!

Well, obviously I noticed the explosion of what little girls are made of, but I kept looking at it because something APART from that looked off, and I noticed her glasses had disappeared even before the top half of her skull popped off. *shrugs*

Something tells me that the "OMGWTFBBQ! FAERIES RAINBOW SPAZZ!" response is a bit too obvious to mention.

Absurdly nonsensical stuff is always a winner in my book, but the last panel somehow contains the cutest most gleeful look seen on any QC-character's face so far imho. Daybrightening.

I dunno... I can't retrieve it right now, but wasn't there a time when Dora found Faye was going too far in terms of sass and asked her to be nicer to the patrons, to which she "complied" by welcoming them with a horribly creepy smile?

If this isn't a decapitation (and that thought's been troubling me ever since I saw this strip, so it cannot), then it can only be Penelope turned phallic symbol. Apparently kittens aren't in her ejaculate. Or Wil's--take your pick.

edit: cannot be. Now it'll all make sense.

Just why do Dora's pupils/iris keep contracting instead of dilating every time she's pissed/surprised? For humans it's the opposite. So... she's reflexively preparing to shoot lasers or something?

Unfortunately I don't have CS4, nor know how to use it, nor have a compy that could probably handle it. I DO however have Windows Movie Maker, GIMP, and a Gif animator. So sorry it's so crude but it just sorta had to be done.

Ah, so Sven DOES blame himself for what happened. Interesting.

I find it easier to sympathize with Sven than most people here, I think. Having a history of being something of a lothario myself and having those habits ruin something special when I finally found it, I know how he feels.  However, even though I have felt the same self-contempt, I didn't wallow in it as long as he has.  Sure it is still there to some degree, but I have been trying to change and grow from the experience rather than just feeling sorry for myself.

I can sympathize, but the boy needs to "sack up" as they say.

i agree that his hair has been brown since the beginning, but i think in the beginning it was sliiiightly lighter.

i wish sven would just tell faye he's sorry, etc and the two make up. i liked them together <3
