Fer grud's sake Sven, grow a pair and apologise.

Of course, that would all depend on Faye not killing him five seconds after he walks into CoD.

I only remember Faye mentioning she never finished college; I don't recall any mention of her sculpting.

I'm still not fully buying into Sven being crushed by this whole thing, clearly I have no heart.

Today's comic is a good one! I like the direction this is going.

I've been looking forward to this storyline ever since Faye mentioned her college major!  Of course, it may have had something to do with the fact that I was dating an art major when that particular comic was posted.... Still, I can't wait to see what Jeph has Faye create for the shop!

i think it's fitting to her personality that faye's medium was/is abstract metal sculpture...

her art mirrors her perfectly doesn't it?

... Faye liked to do what ?

Has this ever been mentioned before ?

By the way, I really hate how extremely rarely Marry Me is updated. Grr. Thats one of the really good Webcomics (I dont know any other like that) and you get an update, like, every half year ? Sigh.

Same goes for Last Blood. I think Bobby Crosby may have a bit too many irons in the fire. Ah, well, at least he has managed so far to update Dreamless with regularity.

Penny doesn't need to wear glasses.  They're clear glass, like Clark Kent's, just to make her look different from her alter ego.

I won't speculate on how you move nutrients, etc. though your body if this is the case, but I do think you're on to something about Sven. From what I saw in 1438, I don't think he's crushed so much as perplexed, perhaps even frustrated: things aren't working out the way they're supposed to. I do think Sven's finally come to the realization that what's happened is in part his fault, which is progress, and I think he's angry and unhappy, yes, but hardly crushed.

Remorse? Have we seen remorse from the Sven? That last 1438 comes close, but not quite. When Sven gets to "what can I do to make this better for Faye,"  without an "and me" in there, then we can talk remorse.

maybe he broke them during his rough and tumble road trip and simply got used to not having them to see.   he's not squinting tho, so i guess that's unlikely.

besides, i'm sure he'd be inclined to do something about his sight by now considering he gets to see penny nude in the moonlight.

I will say Marigold and Hanners seem to suit each other - They're both as slightly socially awkward as each other in situations like this.

Why? Quite apart from the existence of non-conductive fluids, such as mineral oil, suited to the task, electronics can be waterproofed. And as long as they aren't powered on or allowed to corrode, most electronics will weather a little water just fine. In fact the recommended procedure for cleaning some keyboards is to stick them in the dishwasher on the cold/rinse cycle then dry them out for re-use.
