I concur.
I guess she just felt it was a formal occasion, and that it deserved black!
Besides, blond wouldn't work with that outfit.
And at least she got it cut!

I like it better black. It's the way she was introduced, and the WAY I FELL FOR HER OKAY GUYS! Seriously though I think black suits her better. I never liked the growing blond with black tips thing, but it was like that for so long it grew on me actually. Also, offtopic, this is probably the most unoriginal idea ever conceived, but it had to be done:

I do like her with black hair - it's just slightly disappointing that we never got to see her as a full blonde. And it especially seems a bit of a waste for her to grow it out for so long and then just revert to black. (then again, she probably just saw the blonde hair and decided she didn't like it anyway)
OR the black dye is of the kind that washes out, and she just put it in to avoid looking goofy with colored tips when meeting Marten's dad! (*holding on to hope*)

Black wash-out dye don't wash out so good on blonde. Yay for pulling the rug out on people.

I hope that, It's not like I don't like Dora's black hair... It's just that I want to see her as full blonde at least once

I've been waiting fer this one fer awhile. My best guess was that Dora was going to complete her transformation as a blond and then was going to meet Martin's dad who would have also been blond(spitting male image or Dora, maybe with a mustache), thus creating social awkwardness tee hee. But I liked this scenario better. Duderoth

While I did like Dora's hair blonde with the black tips, I have to say with complete honesty that blondes are overrated.

Man I spent a full minute of my life trying to load that upOn a still unrelated note, I would have been more excited feelings over Marten and extreme facial hair. Personally I thought Dora's hair looked a little *meh* with the black tips, it made it too obvious that she was trying to get rid of the black.

I've said before, but what the hey, I'm used to having to repeat even sinple statements: DORA LOOKS BETTER WITH BLACK HAIR.
Of course, being 1/3 goth myself (and 1/3 rev-head, and 1/3 computer geek), i aknowledge that i may be somewhat biased...

Guys, guys, it's just hair color! I've been watching the woman I live with waffle between a dozen shades of red and blond for years.
They all look good!
Of course, I have to tell her how good whenever she changes it...

Hey! I have tons of hair and I have a great skull! A few years back I was in a car accident and instead of dealing with glass removal from all that hair I had my husband to shave my head. Looked pretty awesome, if I do say. The growing out part sucked though.

I really was a big fan of her blonde hair and was patiently waiting for the black to disappear lol...but it still looks nice black. I was disappointed though I liked a more feminine look on her.
Wow I'm amazed at how I'm talking like this about a cartoon character.

Not so much, no...
I'd be closer to a '69 Chevelle SS (350 chev engines make me horny) all in black but with (blood) red tribal graphics and a twin-turbo set-up (pushing 666hp at a MINIMUM) and with a full sterio including that 'drivesoft' in-car PC as well as several screens for movies/PS3 and a whole bunch o amps and sub-woofers in the boot (trunk).
So actually, your not all that far of, just GM instead of F-, foooooorr... >cough< "ford"

I liked Dora blonde with black tips, and was amazed at myself; I had previously been of the opinion that one color at a time was entirely enough for anyone's hair. I always thought it was Jeph's laugh at me for whining so much about Raven's two-tone hair.
But you gotta ask yourself, when Dora really thought about it, whose hair color would she rather emulate? Mummie Toker, or V.V.?

Is it bad that I only noticed Dora's hair was different this morning?
It's a shame, I didn't like the longer hair with blonde tips to begin with but I was just starting to.
