QC forum software gains sentience, ships Marten and Claire (mod note: I hope it stops soon, it'll be a little awkward to have to ban the forum from itself)
also at one point mid-sex she asked me "what do you think about commercialism in art?"
I love this vagina store!
SNEAKYI sneak that shitAnd liekOMG DICK JERK
:mrgreen:I listened to every track posted in this thread and I still don't really get "WHAT" Dubstep is.I'm going to go hide in some Triphop and pretend its still edgy. KTHNXBAI.
This is basically just the emo argument all over again and whatever it's a lost cause let people listen to what sounds good, if they wanna call wobblehouse dubstep and never get on benga and distance and burial and whatever that's their call.
My friend made me listen to Skrillex, and I actually kind of enjoyed it. Catchy as hell.
You don't see a lot of electronic singer-songwriters these days.
Sometimes I feel like everyone around me is some sort of statistical/mathematical genuis and I'm hitting a gazelle in the head with a rock and screaming at the sky when there's a storm.
Hey JD, I really like your penis, man.
I got introduced to Skrillex and Skream at the same time. I think... I think I might be over electronic music guys. I think I might have had enough.
To be fair I think Jungle will have some sort of revival now that dubstep has sort of been everywhere and back again at least twice. At least thats what my Indian dubstep-lover housemate tells me. I just hear a good track every so often. I'm pretty oblivious to it all really. Apart from actual dub, like De Facto.
nick is a dick so you don't have to be!
People are listening to "dubstep" still? I got finagled into going to a Bassnectar show last summer and even the ecstasy couldn't stop me from thinking dubstep was fucked.
wub wub wub wub
(Bassnectar is not dubstep)
That doesn't delegitimize music that is good and may be called "dubstep." It might to people who are easily confused by genre terms, but if you're enough enamored with the sound, it shouldn't be too much of a hindrance. There are other cues beyond genre that people can use to see if they're going to like various artists, and there are ways of knowing whether or not a "dubstep" artist is going to be worthwhile or just skronky nonsense.
@theosirisconcept dubstep has been dead since people started thinking that music like this is actually dubstep
It's a roasted cocoa bean, commonly found in vaginas.
I think Magnetic Man should be mentioned in this thread. Artwork+Benga+Skream. Dubstep's first super group?
