Depends on the type of metal. Nu-metal demands blood mixed with tears both from self-harm. Thrash asks for moshpit-mishap blood. Death metal ... maybe the blood of society wrung from it by evil corporations. Black metal ... well, vampire blood, or maybe the blood of a really frisky nun, or something. Real metal ... virgin blood or possibly blood gotten out in battle (usually the same thing) ... Folk metal must be the blood gotten from fingers cut on those fucking mandolin strings ...

This thread is mainly for pictures of ourselves, and possibly family. Something like an artistic photograph or a photoshop creation sits better in the MAKE forum. That is rather quiet, admittedly, but if more stuff appeared in there, more people would visit it as well.

On vacation at Indiana Beach. We rented a boat for the afternoon, and cruised around Lake Shafer for a while. It was sweet.

Me at the helm.

Hanging out in the stern while my son took the helm for a while.

Digging the wind in my hair, or what's left of it. Yes, those are storm clouds coming in. It rained a little, we got wet. It felt good 'cause it was 95 degrees out. After the rain, maybe 80.

Afterwards, frozen custard! My son looks thrilled as always (he says he was tired, which is true, but he generally looks like that whenever my wife tells him to smile). My daughter and I are generally more upbeat folks.
