Yeah! Monday WOO! (Non-US, but I got tomorrow off. Why wouldn't I be happy?)

Sorry, I'm a bit sleep-deprived. Don't mind me...

Unless Martian surface we see in the background was some sort of free-fall holodeck simulation, there would be gravity anyway. The guest comic is nicely drawn at least.

At first I thought that "go to Mars" must be slang analogous to "get to second base".

Goin' to Mars is clearly slang for gettin' your red wings.

Perhaps it is not Mars, but Burroughs'  Barsoom, as used for a dodge by Heinlein.

"Barsoom" would also have made a great Don Martin sound effect. Perhaps the sound of an indie boy crashing into a bulkhead in the free-fall section of a space station belonging to a mad scientist.

I thought Mercury was first base, Venus second, Earth third, and Mars fourth. What would that make Jupiter, then?  :psyduck:

and I'll leave the obvious asteroid belt joke to a Butt's Disease patient.

Same as you! Same as YOU! I throw the ball to who. Whoever it is drops the ball and the guy runs to second. Who picks up the ball and throws it to What. What throws it to I Don't Know. I Don't Know throws it back to Tomorrow, Triple play. Another guy gets up and hits a long fly ball to Because. Why? I don't know! He's on third and I don't give a darn!

I like how people are focused on the gravity of said beverage and not the fact that it didn't care for Marten's joke.

Also, PRIDE ORB apparently doesn't say things you are proud of, but things you should be proud of.

Note, for when Jeph is feeling more awake: There is a superfluous "the" in PRIDE ORB'S speech.  Nothing urgent, just... it's there.

Also, when I first noticed that the PRIDE ORB was pink, why was the first thing I thought of "Gay Pride"?

The Pride Orb's description of Yelling Bird, that's a remark to wear with distinction. Sweet Tits... well, I guess some habits of the Shame Orb are hard to break.

Yeah, cause nothing says proud by bringing down a jetliner with fecal matter!!

Course, would that count as an act of terrorism?

Something tells me we're not ever going to get closure on this one and Marigold's general demeanor in the final panel will haunt us till the end of our days.

That has to be the strangest non sequitur entrance by a new character I have ever seen.

And yet, it explains so much about Marigold.

Well, now I want to know what Dad Farmer *thought* steampunk was, and what shoe design he based on that thought.

Marigold does appear to be somewhat used to things like this.

Also, Dabney Coleman will play Dad Farmer in the movie

It's not the wordplay, I like that part.

I dunno, maybe this is silly, but imagine for a second that some random dude on the internet made a t-shirt with images of Pintsize and a bunch of other webcomic robots with a caption like, "Robot = So Hot" or something like that and started selling it. The Vices/Devices t-shirt bugs me for the same reason that shirt would bug me, if that makes any sense.
