Terrific band!  I've dug them ever since I randomly typed "Your Mom" into Soulseek... came up with the song "Your Brains vs. My Tractorbeam".  They've been one of my favorite bands since then.

It's one guy in his bedroom someplace in Brooklyn.  Well, that's how it started out, at least.  They are releasing two new albums with a full band sometime next year.  I, for one, am hella pumped.

Alright, I guess I should "compare it to something"...

The best I can do for you is Postal Service meets The Arcade Fire.  Now, listen to the free MP3's and see how off the mark that is!  It's just one guy making indie pop songs in his room with a synth machine and a guitar...

I totally agree.  First heard about them last year on some random message board and i've been digging them since.

I pimped them alot on my college radio show too.

Good mellow indie about random stuff.

*thumbs up*

intresting.

I have to disagree on the comparison to others, I can hear a little postal service (in that theres some synth), but no arcade fire. I know its hard to pick something thats in everyones musical lexicon though.

but they sound pretty good.

Yeah, it's a sketchy comparison... and, when I said "The Arcade Fire" I was thinking Laika and Dersmormos... and well, nevermind... still nothing.

I don't know.  *shrugs*  I even said the comparison was hazy.  Still good though.

Looking forward to checking them out. Stuck at work so have to wait.
If it is as good as everyone here say and have atleast some bits reminding of Postal Service and Arcade Fire I think I will have yet another band on my shopping list Cheesy
