Holy shit. i take a leave of absence from the QC forums and someone sends me a link to the death announcement of Jeph? i read the thread in its entirety and ive been saddened. both by the potential loss of a truly inspirational man, and by the thought that someone out there could find pleasure in a sick joke. either way this just isnt right. if Jeph has passed, then my prayers are with him. and if this is a joke, then it is with those who are responsible that my prayers fall upon.

Well the fact that this seems more like a hoax is quite relieving. Although the fact that anyone would do this is indeed disturbing. I do not understand how it would seem amusing to anyone and whoever it is I wish that you would please reconsider this little joke. I am not pointing fingers, but this is unfair to all QC readers, Jeph and his family.

not sufficiently clearI would suggest that you refrain from posting IP addresses in here. We matched the IP last night, we ran with it because we assumed it was Jeph's doing or someone associated with Jeph, seeing as he was hanging out with J-Ro and well, he died once too. (For that matter, that may still be the case)

The main thing is, I'm convinced now that it was started by a third party. I thought yesterday that it was Jeph and his friends pulling a prank, which had it been true would have resulted in a very angry group of forum-goers. I'm very pleased that appears to not be the case.
