Jeph,

I remember somewhere that you(?) were planning on putting out QC book once the "current arc" is complete.  Is this still the plan or do I have to us a color printer and paste all of the comics into a note book.

Are the indietits going to continue to be a sporadic comic that you update when you have time, something you plan to begin on a regular basis again, or are they facing the end of their updates?

Do you play slow or fast mana?  As a corollary, do you agree with the claim that the Serra Angel is the most valuable overall card to play in a white-themed deck?

Dude, seriously. Webcomic that prominently features females + nerds with way too much time on their hands = lots and lots of stupid boob comments.

Also, Jeph, what brands/models of guitars do you own/enjoy?

Jeph, how do you make and post the webcomics? I've always wondered, but nobody I know knows how to make and post webcomics. Do you have to use photoshop? Or is photoshop just an option for you if you feel like it?

Crap. I need to read more carefully. Now, to get this thread back on track...

Jeph, do you listen to any hip-hop? I ask because I notice you have quite a diverse selecton of music on the RL page, with the only notable genre unrepresented being hip-hop (unless you count the Avalanches). Just wondering.

Not sure yet. It's tough to maintain interest and find time to do them on top of everything else I do.

Depends on what deck I'm using, and Serra Angels are pretty good but it's been so long since I played M:tG that I really don't know.

Gibson Les Paul Standard (faded finish), PRS McCarty, Fender American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster. MESA/Boogie Nomad 55 4x10 combo amp. 1mm Dunlop Tortex picks.

It was always on questionablecontent.net. I don't like "free servers".

Not really. For whatever reason most hip-hop doesn't grab me the way indie-rock and metal and electronic music do.

What was your favourite kind of M:tG deck to play with?  Favourite race/class combination in any pen and paper role playing game?  Who'd win in a fist fight, Kafka or Wilde?  If you had complete creative control would you do a comic on a regular basis in a different format?

Favorite one I ever put together was a black/blue all-flying deck. I don't do pen and paper RPGs. Kafka. Define "different format".

How come Thanksgiving is the only holiday with a very special QC? Why not for MLK Day, Guy Fawlks, the Queen's Birthday, Canada Day, Groundhog Day, Boxing Day, or Anzac Day, Etc.? Is it just because their mascotts aren't as cute? Maybe you could just pick your three favorites. I'm sure you could think of somthing. Everyone likes to be put in a holiday spirit.

Jeph did a vaguely Halloween-themed strip http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=39">once.

I'm actually quite satisfied with the OMG turkeys being the only festive thing that Jeph does right now.

Jeph - is it bad that I've answered more of your questions than I've asked?

I dunno, I think I would enjoy seeing what costumes Jeph came up with for all the characters on Halloween. However, because it's a storyline based comic, a Halloween arc would probably last nearly until Thanksgiving.

Jeph, first off, I want to say that I love your work and you have inspired me to start learning how to draw so I can start my own comic. I really love your humor and your drawing style. I have a few questions though.

What inspired you to start drawing Questionable Content and how long have you been drawing in general?

Thanks for your time.

Not when you consider the sheer awesomeness that is the first FF Tactics in comparison to the utter garbage that is FF8 in terms of storyline.

I mean, at the end you destroy that world's equivalent of a Christ Figure/God, instead of some random "witch" that talks in Mortal-Kombat-speak and a story that ends in what amounts to a time paradox followed by "Aw, happily ever after!".

And this completely ignores all the other games out there that are exponentially better than the Final Fantasy franchise.

i think the final fantasy series started an irreversable slump with final fantasy eight. it's like they'd exhausted all their best ideas on six, seven and tactics, and now the series is... well, it's still the best games series on earth, but there was a year-long period when it absolutely owned my soul and now that feeling has gone. it's actually really sad.
