Nobody expected the events of July 22, 2017, until it was far too late. As the sun rose over Northampton, Massachusetts, the residents awoke to find that they had become prisoners to their new AnthroPC masters. Many of the residents simply accepted their fate, but a resistance to the AnthroPC revolution soon began to organize. The members of the resistance protected themselves by keeping a strict policy of anonymity, but this policy has allowed a few infiltrators to get into the organization. One morning the resistance found that all the other residents of Northampton had been removed from the town, leaving just the residents and, presumably, the infiltrators.

In this game, everyone will choose a character from Questionable Content to play, and some of the characters will have special abilities.

So, who wants to play? I'm hoping to get around 14 players if possible (the more the merrier). If you want to choose a character, say which one in your sign-up post (or if you've already signed up, in a new post)

Anything that happens in the game stays in the game; but I don't see any reason to interfere with the natural progress of the gameplay itself.

Thinking about it some more, if people want I could rework the setup a bit to allow people to choose their own characters, though who would be a robot would be assigned randomly. If the character assignments are in the open then the robots would have to choose fake human characters (otherwise it would be obvious who was a robot).

Ah, that's a good idea. So then everyone has a human identity and doesn't have to be a robot pretending to be a human. The downside is I wouldn't get to send out the PM to the player who gets Pintsize.

edit -- okay, here's what I'll go with: everyone gets to choose a non-robot character from QC. Anyone who's already signed up, post your choices in this thread, and if you want to sign up, include a character to choose in your post. Some of you will be randomly chosen to be APC collaborators.

Also, GaWF, I hope Mieville says something more than "Meow" in this game. Though I suppose I could assign Dora to a player and Mieville would have to talk through Dora.
