Bros, bros, bros.  And beer.
Well, Steve's presence might spoil Angus' plan, whatever it is. Angus looks slightly annoyed.

Angus tries to tell Marten a quickie fuck is okay, don't worry about it. Wait, that would've been Sven.......

Is going out and getting boozed up really these guys' answer for EVERYTHING?

Yes, given my username, I AM aware of a certain irony to the above.

Not just the guys!

Hate her music all you like, but she's far from talentless and I don't know where the word 'tart' has come from.

I really want to know why these poll summaries are always already up when I open the comic in the morning.

My votes are never counted.

It's a secret.

If that's the case, they've now both fucked each other by proxy.
Is that a thing?
Some forms of sex education in the US do actually try to claim that if you have sex with someone, it's like having sex with everyone they've had sex with, so on, so on, so on. (It's meant in an STD exposure sense, mind you.)

Yes, the "used goods" form of slut-shaming is actually taught to children in schools in the US.

Is that a thing?

It brings back a memory of a word that I have never heard, and seen in print only once. In a novel I read many years ago, one character asks another if they are now "hulsvogre".

"Svogre" is plural of "svoger" meaning brother-in-law. "Hul" means hole. A sweedism perhaps? The novel was translated from Swedish. Is that a thing?
It is very likely that it is a sweedism. The corresponding term in Finnish slang also uses "brothers-in-law" as part of the term (obviously only when referring to two males). Instead of a "hole", the first part euphemistically refers to a belly-button, but the intended meaning is the same. That is probably a Finnish variant of the sweedism (we copy a lot from them), as  over here "below the belly-button" is a common euphemism referring to private parts.

Of course, the Swedes may themselves have adapted the term from somewhere else.

  • I'm a bandicoot!

So Marten, Angus and Steve are going to the Horrible Revelation. Wil and Elliot work there. Sven is a regular, so there's a strong chance he'll be there too. Jimbo practically lives there.

So all we need are plausible ways to get Amir, Dale and Clinton to show up there and we will have

ALL THE DUDES.

Is going out and getting boozed up really these guys' answer for EVERYTHING?

It's certainly my answer to everything. Drinking is good for people who are have issues expressing or dealing with something. Done properly a beer or three with your bros (non-gender specific usage) will give you enough booze to shake off your own internal mental bullshit that's preventing your from either communicating or confronting what's going on in your head, but NOT enough booze that you do the death spiral and drown in your own bullshit for a little while.

It's group therapy. With a pint of stout. Which is what normal group therapy sorely needs.

Alternately it can be therapy by way of not talking about it. Fun having is important, thus have fun and feel better, in the case of a serious sad sack, or a serious issue this requires one to two semi-sober friends to keep the patient off topics that will induce death spiral.

You could've just said "Alanis Morrosette" and get to the point. How she managed to get a recording deal with that voice is beyond me.

Because different people like different stuff - lots of great stuff out there to choose from, no need to bag on someone else's choice. I mean if William Hung can get a recording contract, no telling what will sell.

Alanis Morissette? Meh. I don't really care for her songs, myself. I mean, she's not bad, as such, but she ain't working her way into my playlist.
