The best thing about this for me is that I had logged onto FB and saw Zach post a new SMBC comic, and immediately afterword came here and saw his guest strip.

I usually have lots of tabs open. Sometimes until you can't see the icon anymore and the tabs wont size down anymore.

It's a relic from when he was signed up with one of thoses publicity sites that ask people to vote for their favourite webcomic. Reward for a vote was a bonus panel. Eventually he just added those panels to the main site.

And yeah, I felt blueballed by the lack of votey.

SMBC is my favourite webcomic (sorry folks) but I think this is the first time something written by Zach HASN'T made me laugh... well, first something I've understood hasn't made me laugh at any rate.

I only know a couple people that don't have at least 5 open at a time, I have around 10 in a work window and 30 in a personal one, I'm sure I'll sort through the personal ones... eventually.

If I open too many tabs (like 20 or so) my computer starts freezing sometimes. Right now I have twelve tabs open over three windows.

Same (tied with xkcd) and sort of. I did like how Dale was completely unfazed by the content of the tabs.

I have currently three tabs open, and that's about normal although I often have only one. Sometimes it gets to ten but that's a lot and I'd prefer to keep it under six (so that I can see them all at once; I have a narrow screen).

I have four tabs open right now, I have three "standard" tabs I keep up pretty much at all times, and it ranges up to 20+

As a rule of thumb, I usually have three open at any given time, though I've gone to anything between 30-45. Some sites are easier to do that with than others... you can open Craigslist ads ad infinitum and your computer won't break a sweat. But there's times that I've been watching YouTube videos and gotten enough tabs open ("Hmmm. Looks interesting. Let me open that in a new tab and I'll watch it next") that I swear I can hear my computer weeping quietly to itself.

I usually keep it to 3-5 tabs. I always keep facebook open in the background despite my not so stellar social life. I used to have a really bad habit of having 10 or more tabs open at once but I've started just bookmarking everything I want to look at later instead of leaving it open forever.

Thanks to Morning Cup, I can have anywhere from nine to 20 open at any time. I usually use it to browse comics and news feeds.
