Hi. I'm new to the forums. Was it ever made clear if the basket full of mice panel was real or a fantasy sequence? I'm assuming fantasy, but, you know, it is Emily we're talking about.

BTW, I would *love* it if Marten got together with Emily. I think she's crazy adorable.

One of the charming things about the strip is that people completely ignore the bizarre (AI civil rights, cybernetic arms, supervillains, Pizza Girl) and obsess over the mundane. "Emily kissed me on the cheek! What? Oh, basket of mice? Yeah that happened -- AFTER SHE KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK!"

So, yeah, I think the basket of mice is fantasy, but....
