I'll also have you know that we came up with some really cool stuff, such as my song.  It's a little sloppy, and our keyboardist was improvising his solo completely, on the worst string patch in existence, discounting all the other ones on his keyboard.

Hmm. I guess you couldn't really write a song on bass. You could write one mother of a bassline though.
