I don't want to show my proof of making an animated gif, you saw the pintsize seizure gif. But yeah, I found this image for my avatar a long time ago and deemed it perfect for the internet pseudonym.

I play EVE, and have a sig banner for the game's forum.

this is the original, which I accidentally made too large for the file size constraints of 24Kb. This one came in at 26,066 bytes:



And this is the one I made to replace it, at a mere 13,761 bytes.



Being pretty new to Photoshop, I've also had fun experimenting with filters, and tools like the clone stamp, which is what I did with the following screenshot. The whole idea was to make it look hand-painted, and include an impression of speed.



Any suggestions on how to get better use out of filters gratefully accepted.

That's grotesque and I wish I hadn't seen it.

For anyone who still cares and is comfortable with a command line, Gifsicle is a nice piece of work for making animated GIFs.
