That's not really much use though, as it doesn't give any descriptions of the genre.
The only way to really do this well would be to link together lots of spider diagrams like Ishkurs guide, doing it all chronologically, so right at the centre you'd have tribal drumming and jolk and whatnot, then branching out. A lot.

I think you'd have to be very sad, very bored, very lonely or exactly like me to do a list as big as that with descriptions.

You actually probably need to come up with a definition of "genre". It sounds stupid but otherwise this might literally take forever. Can a genre just refer to the process used to make the music? Just the aesthetic? Just the instrumentation used?
For example

I'd say thats an aesthetic not a genre.
