It was pretty bizarre. Not like Dr. Who hasn't had some VERY strange moments before.  Castrovalva anyone?

If you want to understand more about Torchwood, watch the Christmas Special. I think they're basically trying to bring them in to take the place of UNIT, as the United Nations has basically said they can't use any UN insignia in relation to UNIT, or say what the acronym stands for anymore.

I am not a doctor Who fan, by any stretch of the imagination, but I had a girlfriend whose little brother used to sum up your entire personality by the doctor that was around during the year you were born. I was a "Colin Baker" and therefore, totally worthless as a human being to him. Fuck they were weird.
