The Sorrowful Wife by Nick Cave.

Starts off as a hardly bearable piano ballad; about three minutes in becomes a mass of noise.

Hiding All Away by Nick Cave; starts off with about eighteen verse/choruses, very restrained, musically, like a dog on a leash. Then out of nowhere is a random bridge about the war coming explodes into total noise and that keeps going to the fade out.
