Praeserpium Machinarum:
Hola!

I am looking for some music with spanish vocals which isn't worthless pop ala Fobia or La Oreja de Van Gogh. Thus far I have encountered a total of two good artists who sing in spanish:
Juana Molina
Manu Chao

Some mariachi music would be cool but I am pretty much open for anything as long as it is "good" :)

ImRonBurgundy?:
there's a band called Lumumba with Spanish lyrics.  and their lead singer sounds like Cookie Monster.  i have only one of their songs, though.

E. Spaceman:
If you tell me what kind of music would you like (as opposed to what you don't it would be easier.

Anyway

Electronic pop: Moenia
Comedy Pop-Metal: Moderatto
Indie: Zoé

Garcin:
I'm very fond of the Argentinian rock/funk band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (their song Matador became quite famous in the '80s and was included on the Grosse Pointe Blank sound track.  I highly recommend their live albums "Hola" and "Chau" which both came out in 2001.

Also check out Mexican hip hop/electronic group Plastilina Mosh.  Their single "Human Disco Ball" is much fun.

Praeserpium Machinarum:
When I said worthless pop I just meant it wasn't very good. It wasn't to say that I would mind good spanish pop :)
I am pretty much willing to listen to anything.
