"THE NATIONAL DAY OF SLAYER: 6/6/06

Official Statement on Participation

    * Listen to Slayer at full blast in your car.

    * Listen to Slayer at full blast in your home.

    * Listen to Slayer at full blast at your place of employment.

    * Listen to Slayer at full blast in any public place you prefer.

DO NOT use headphones! The objective of this day is for everyone within earshot to understand that it is the National Day of Slayer. National holidays in America aren't just about celebrating; they're about forcing it upon non-participants."

Maybe I'll make 6/6/06 the day when I decide to listen to Slayer for the first time to figure out what they're like anyway.  I'll probably just end up listening to Sabbath the whole day, though.

Aw, man. I wanted to post this!

Rizzo:
Haven't you heard? Slayer aren't really very good. I do have a soft spot for Raining Blood though...

Trollstormur:
I'd rather listen to Absu, featuring Proscriptor "too evil for slayer" McGovern.

(he auditioned for slayer, and they turned him down for being too evil)

Kai:
Yeah, I'm sure I could find something more evil to listen to on Slayer day.

I have heard. In fact, my last post about them mentioned how they filled me with pure indignant rage. I just thought it was funny.

Personally, I'd rather go back to basics and put on some Black Sabbath.
