Brian Majestic:

--- Quote from: butmyrobotloves ---I actually just won two tickets to Lollapalooza in the lolla haiku contest on their website.  Woohoo!  Dude I felt so victorious.

So anyway I'm going to Lolla and Pitchfork, and I think that's probably it.

Hello, recently acquired new best friend and fellow college age lover of literature (I look at myspace links to gather brown-nosing ammo).

jcknbl:
I might end up Bonnaroo if I can find some folks to go. Everything else is way to far away. It sort of sucks. If I go I'll totally be like, "Hey guys, who wants to come meet this guy from the internets." And then I'll be all "If you come he might make out with you." And they'll be all, "ok!!".

McTaggart:

--- Quote from: Hat ---Splendour in the Grass is inherently dissapointing this year. That is a bummer because it is pretty much the only major winter festival in Australia, and none of the summer ones are really worth going to (excepting the Falls Festival and Homebake)

Dang, I am kind of thinking about going on a holiday to the US to see some festivals, but my savings barely cover the airfare, let alone the cost of beer and water.

East Coast Blues and Roots. You just missed it, but damn, that is definately worth going to.

KharBevNor:
Wacken!

Dear Gods the lineup is amazing. They just confirmed Arch Enemy.

Praeserpium Machinarum:
I am considering going to Forma Nova and Fredericia Hardcore Festival. Forma Nova is for alternative mostly electronic music, so far they have Ulrich Schnauss and Plaid as the headliners. But I hope they will annonce some more familiar names in June or something. Fredericia Hardcore Festival is for, well, hardcore and alt. metal. It is my little brother who is bugging me to go, I don't know any of headliners like Blindside and Sworn Enemy or that weird argentine straight edge vegan band Nueva Etica.

If I could I would go to Spot or Roskilde but t there is school, money problems and lack of like-minded people to go with in the way. It is a damn shame since Roskilde's lineup is pretty good... well beside the headliners obviously. Though I suppose there are a fair bit of people who would salivate over Roger Waters playing the entirety of The Dark Side of the Moon. I am just not one of them.
But they have: Dälek, Sigur Rós, Kaizer's Orchestra, Under Byen, Rufus Wainwright, Animal Collective, Opeth, Placebo, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Death Cab, Matisyahu, Jenny Lewis, Lady Sovereign, Silver Jews, Why? plus a bunch of others.
