Now if such a thing existed it might be interesting, but the guys who play metal/metalcore around here are dead serious. I mean come on one of the bands is called Memorial, you don't get more dead than that.

edit: while we're on the subject of goth/electro, I know it's a different country but well... Australia is closer to you than to me. You heard of an Aussie band called Resurrection Eve? If not, check them out, great darkwave-y synthpop. If you like the look of the Infest line-up they should be right up yer alley.
