I'm going to catch both of these bands when they play Winnipeg next friday, any fans here? If so, anyone seen either live?

I really, really want to see them when they're playing in Vancouver soon, but the damn 19 and up craziness...  Stupid.

They're absolutely amazing though, I love Sunset Rubdown's latest, and Frog Eyes have released some great albums.  I just need to get around to buying them.  The second I get some money, they're top of my too purchase list.

my friend saw frog eyes and said they were really bad, actually.  It was a little while back (I forget how long specifically) and he didn't know who they were at the time, but yeah.

Frog Eyes are amazing (though I can't listen to their newest past the first three tracks), but I've never heard of the other band. I'll check them out.

I am listening to some Sunset Rubdown right now, and I am not really sure how I feel about them.. I think they will need to grow on me.

Do it man, I mean it's only 10 bucks, I can hardly think of a better way to spend it.

Of course, I'm betting it's going to be held in a licensed venue, with the damn 19+-ness.  That's what's keeping me out of the Vancouver show, anyway.

I ended up missing the show, needless to say i'm quite angry. Anyone here go? If so how was it?

The reason I missed it? It started MUCH later than anticpated, and I made plans with my 17 year old girlfriend, whom I never see as it is. (I'm 18, so it's not that weird)
