There seems to be a fair bit of excitement about this game, so I thought it deserved its own topic.

Obviously the Solid Snake thing is a big deal, because it means some other non-Nintendo characters could be in the game as well.

So, what are you looking forward to/hoping for? Characters? Stages? Items? Controller functionality? Online play?

Personally, I really hope they don't do like they did with Melee and make half the characters nearly identical to the first half. I would certainly like for there to be as many characters as there were in Melee, but I hope they make an effort to make every character different and interesting.

I hope the Fire Emblem guys come back, because I love the series, and Pit and Meta Knight look like they could be really cool too.

I want bananas. Pokeballs. More minigames with more variation. Thousands of trophies and humourous cutscenes on par with the trailer.

No more non-nintendo characters.
But some castlevania based stages would ROCK.

Actually, a Belmont character would be pretty badass too.

EDIT: And I'm personally getting pretty sick of Sonic. Sega really has run that franchise into the ground.
