To be honest I actually kind of liked them until the singer opened up his mouth. Is it so hard to get a decent singer these days?

This rash of shitty not-emo/something-core bands really makes me ashamed to admit that I come from Wales. Fucking South Wales is the breeding ground for these assholes, the "Music Scene" around here consists of 50 Funeral For A Friend-a-likes popping up every week to further annoy everyone. Bring on the next shitty trend in MTV rock music already.

Although I'll probably be flamed for this: Anything with Patton in it is good.

Not by me. I don't love everything he's worked on, but the vast majority of it is well above par. His vocal prowess and creativity are quite sharp.
