GUYS! If you wanna make this thread worth something, describe the bands you're posting, tell people how you know them, where they're from.
Otherwise this is just crap.
Also, no offshoots from bands that are huge will ever be 'obscure'.

Austin TV are a post rock band from Mexico City. They are not that obc¿scure really, easily being the mot famous post-rock ban in Mexico (yes, also the only one I know of). Their sound is close to Mogwai with use of samples a la GY!BE. They take to the stage wearing matching clothing and masks, the idea being that people will not focus on the members but on the music.  One of the outfits is matching black pinstriped suits with a red mask, another is white suits with a bunny mask.

The Jim Yoshii Pile Up.
Good band from California.

Jim Yoshii Pile-Up. YESSS!!

Anyway. The band I said was Destroy All Robots from Ontario, Canada. They are a fun rock band with some ska influences. The singer writes really good, thought provoking lyrics. The end.
