Thrillho:

--- Quote from: Kai ---I believe it's been mentioned several times now.
--- End quote ---

Fair enough. I've been away for three weeks, and feel no need to read all eight billion pages of the threads I've not read.

negative creep:
there's a german psychedelic/stoner rock band called spaceship landing, after the song by kyuss.

books_out_loud:
some girls - the smiths
saves the day - some line in a movie
american nightmare - misfits
local band called "between the ends" took their name from a thrice song.

--- Quote ---Mars Volta got their name from an interview with the director Felini(sp?)
--- End quote ---

ummm, dude. the word 'volta' was used to describe the changing of a scene by an 18th century(or maybe earlier, i could be getting this part wrong) playwrite. that's not really stealing, more like translating.

Audhumla:
Between The Buried And Me were inspired by a line from a Counting Crows song

skavid:
Crass took their name from the song "Ziggy Stardust."
Charles Bronson took their name from the cowboy/actor.
