He did one for Oregon Trail, too. It's not quite as funny in my opinion, but that's because he sort of had to tailor the story to what happened in the game, whereas with Animal Crossing you can sort of do whatever the fuck you want anyway.

However, I would advise you to read it quickly, because it's been finished for a while and if SA threads go for a certain period of time without being posted in they get archived and then only people with special access can read them. It's pretty short though, I imagine you could read it in a few hours if you tried.
Also, somebody did a parody of the Snakes on a Plane song about the thread but it kind of gives away the end so you shouldn't listen to it until after it's over. Still, it's pretty funny.
