Your images are great for MS Paint and really well done - if you want a free image tool that isnt MS Paint try the GIMP though - its brilliant

thanks for the tip and the compliment, and the only reason i dont use GIM or adobe illustartor is because if i do a good job in paint i get to hear people say "wow you made that in paint?!"

Or have them mock you for using such an outdated program. But still, if you do, do a really fantastic job, then I suppose it would be a surprise for anti-paint people.

paint is a great tool, if you do a good job in it that is. and if you can, well its amazing in a sense like a dj using an old record player and speakers form the 70's to do an entire set. It comes out surprising as hell. and when people cant even use MS Paint, much less illustrator or GIMP, then it's even more amazing to them

I used to do a lot of drawing in paint myself a while back, and the whole "wow you did THAT with paint??" reaction is always heart-warming. However, what I found when I veered towards the world of photoshop, gimp and other more advanced graphics editors, I found that what I could do was suddenly very limited. Not limited by my talent, since I could do "amaising" things with just MS paint, but by my set of skills with digital tools.

Bitmap is all but dead as a format for pictures, the files are incredibly large, and alltogether it's slowly getting phased out of use... People will say htings like "wow that's amaising... for paint" about our art, but not many will take it seriously, I'm afraid...

(bu the way I gave up on drawing with GIMP after a while, didn't have the cash for a tablet, and ended up going to more traditional things involving paper and pencils.. :P)

Neuvost:

--- Quote from: surreality ---the images are too smal because photobucket resizes them, it is all that is evil in the world, anyone got any reccomendations for a good hosting service that doesn't rape your pictures with a spork then give them back to you bleeding, crying and tiny?

Don't forget you can go to your account options on Photobucket and just tell it to allow bigger pictures. I'd recommend using Photoshop for your art and your image compression.
