I would pretty much kill for a Death in June shirt.
I'm probably going to make my own DI6 shirt at some point in the not-too-distant future. It will have a massive Whiphand-6 logo on the front, and on the back 'LIBERTE C'EST UN REVE' flanked by grinning deathsheads.
My faves:
Bal-Sagoth - Oracle of War longsleeve (unfortunately this is made of some fabric with the rough consistency of tissue paper. At some point I need to cut out all the pictures with a sharp knife and basically sew them onto a new shirt, as they seem to be the only parts of the bloody thing that will stay together)
Bathory - Octagon
Ephel Duath - The Painters Palette (Only problem with this is it's a European large, and thus fits rather scene-tight on me. Unpleasant, as I'm not that slim.)
Halo of Flies - Ghosts of Our Fathers Awaken (home-made)
Impaled Northern Moonforest - Return of the Necrowizard (home-made)
Iron Maiden - Brave New World
Led Zeppelin - Hammer of the Gods (
possibly the most shitting awesome shirt ever made)
Mortiis - The Smell of Rain
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Slayer - Smell the Stench of Immortality (I've seen people look at it and immediately cross themselves. Fab.)
I'm also definitely buying a Wacken Open Air Black Stage shirt when I get there.
Apart from t-shirts, which I buy only really when I need new t-shirts, my favourite item of band merch is my 20 year old Anti-Nowhere League 'I Hate People' patch. I got favoured customer status in a local shop just for buying it. The guy had literally had it in stock without being bought since 1985. Other patches on my jacket which I like greatly are my 'classic' Bathory one with the baphomet (to which I have added 'RIP' in white paint), A small Dead Kennedys 'Too Drunk to Fuck' patch and a Heaven Shall Burn era Marduk group photo one.
