Wilco Week!
tweedyfarrar:
--- Quote from: DynamiteKid ---YHF is no major cultural achievement. It's not even the best album by Wilco.
You're seeing them live? I didn't even know they were touring. They have a fucking new album to make.

A little harsh arent ya man. They have been recording new material and a couple of the new songs even show up in concert. Tweedy has also just released a Loose Fur album with a new Golden Smog effort due out in July. Stiratt and Sassone released an Autumn Defense album not too long ago. Glenne Kotche just released a solo album. The guys are not exactly sitting around on their haunches.
As for YHF, I happen to love every second of it, but I guess that is just a personal preference.
Johnny C:
I agree with you, startlingly-appropriate-name. I still need to hear Loose Fur, but I'm excited to hear some of the new Wilco tunes.
ALSO I LOVE "RESERVATIONS"
Houdinimachine:
Theologians is the song that really got me going hard on Ghost.
My favorite Wilco song is actually the duet with Billy Bragg on "Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key."
sjbrot:
Elliott Brood (http://www.myspace.com/elliottbrood) are opening for all the dates this side of the border. You know, the crazy alt-country Canadians who instead of a bass drum have a suitcase.
Marauder:
I'll be seeing them on the fifteenth of July; can't wait.
