EDIT:  I'm quite content he's back and can't wait to hear where he's going to go artistically.  All the solo stuff I've heard were either Neutral Milk Hotel songs or pretty much identical to Neutral Milk Hotel songs (not that that's necessarily a bad thing . . . . )

Gah, beat me to it. I stumbled across his forum post on the Elephant 6 message boards (I think that is where it was) last night. Cant wait to hear what he is up to in more detail.
