I know there's no connection, I just thought it would be nice if there was one post about noise on this forum that wasn't just about Merzbow. Also, 'punky grindcore' isn't a genre so much as a description. You know how some grind is more punky, some grind more death metaly, some grind more jazzy, etc.

Brighter Death Now is heavily influenced by Discharge, by the way. He actually has an album called Why / Never Again.

people would be better of talking about merzbow instead of most things, especially a lot of crappy noise past/present.
