Have you ever listened to Naked City? At all? Or any of the bands Khar listed? Or are we completely going off of that wikipedia article? Cause last I checked Wikipedia is not the answer to the universe.

Issei Sagawa actually has a few (i think. i know there is at least one) members from the mean reds. they were formed when the mean reds broke up.
and on an interesting side note; they were named after a japanese cannibal of the same name who is now a celebrity in japan after escaping prosecution for killing and eating a fellow student at the school he was attending.

Look, I have barely made an effort to get into grind but I know that some bands incorporate avant-garde jazz elements. It happens.

Also, this thread might get me into some more thrash/grind/powerviolence. And I think if "powerviolence" fits a certain sound, then what the fuck, why not use it?

no but if either of you would like to send me a song or something by any of those bands, i will be the first to admit i'm wrong, if i feel i am at that point.
