thrash/powerviolence recommendations
MWhaling:
khar, perhaps you wouldn't be so offended if you bothered to learn something about music ouside of some specific microcosm. you're certainly not entitled you to spreading your misguided opinions on anything other than bad metal acts.
KharBevNor:
I am sorry I am not an opinionated arsehole Mwhaling ;_;
MWhaling:
oh it undoubtedly has more to do with this:

and

and
--- Quote from: KharBevNor ---That band already exist, and they're called The Lower Class Brats.
Also, power electronics > power violence. Then again I never quite got the distinction between power violence and punky grindcore, if indeed there is one. Seriously though, more people need to listen to stuff like Navicon Torture Technologies, Whitehouse, Sutcliffe Jügend, Deathpile and Folkstorm.
@Jcknbl: ?

and
--- Quote from: KharBevNor ---I know there's no connection, I just thought it would be nice if there was one post about noise on this forum that wasn't just about Merzbow. Also, 'punky grindcore' isn't a genre so much as a description. You know how some grind is more punky, some grind more death metaly, some grind more jazzy, etc.

if there's a genre you're unfamiliar with, you shouldn't feel obligated to contibute to a "recommendations" thread. you'll just confuse the person looking for recommndations.
KharBevNor:
You're saying Municipal Waste aren't a thrash band?
MWhaling:
i'm saying that munical waste have nothing to do with powerviolence.
argue that the thread asked for thrash/powerviolence recommendations, and you'll also be mistaken, because by including the "powerviolence" part of the request, the request looked more towards dropdead and maybe even seige than munical waste.
