Final Fantasy III, never before released in the US, redone to use the DS engine.  Sounds like a reason to buy the DS, does it not?

The wiki article is a brief summary, however I beg you to look up screenshots of the game.  It looks amazing.

Apparently the cinematics (there will be some) will blank out one of the screens to use both graphics engines.

I played it on the NES (illegally, sorry). It was pretty awesome. If I gave a crap about handhelds, I would really love to pick this up.

Cartilage Head:
If I weren't poor,I would grab myself a DS and this game. I will probably somehow do that anyway. I am a fanboy.

also poor plus i want the new mario platform game and FFIII

I've played this through on emulators; I will be definitely buying a DS to play this in October.  One complaint: I want it now.   NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW
