Justin Timberlake's comments about his new album/song
Not An Addict:
"Rhythm and Blues" is itself an outdated term, anyway. Record companies thought it up as a shorthand for "black music" back in the '50s. So yes, much of modern R&B has little to do with blues, but that's a reflection on the genre's terminology, not the music itself.
Johnny C:
If I haven't misunderstood, the "B" in "R&B" is "Bass" now.
EDIT: And the name of Justin's album is - I shit you not - FutureSex/LoveSounds. That's garbage, right there.

I never understand this. Are you genuinely ignorant to the modern definition of 'R and B' or do you just choose to ignore it out of spite? Because either way, you lose.

I don't remember the part where I raped your dog. Please explain to me when this happened so I can rectify it. I said I don't hear much of the blues inspiration in much popular R&B these days. I did not call you a twat. So, please calm down before replying next time. K?
I have taken classes on jazz history. I am Ken Burns' bitch. When I define rythem and blues, I define it just as that.

So the answer is 'yes, I do not know the modern definition of R'n'B', that being 'Rhythm and Bass,' which just about every rap/hip hop/R AND B song has had since its inception.

The Justified album cover was a timely and searing indigtment of the Iraq War. Timberlake, standing in a desert (Iraq, perhaps?), gazes at us, questioning, pondering: "Was this war Justified?"
Will his new album cover be as audatious?

...
BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.
