All the same, it's not irony or any other equally played out word to describe when someone enjoys something outside of their subculture they find themselves in. I don't see why I or anyone else can't like wannabe Michael Jackson pop-rock. This smacks of freshman year of high school when no one can like anything but what their friends like. I would hope most of us have been done with that for at least 5 or six years by now, if not eight. Pathetic.
