Vincent Ventresca.

Go watch the sci-fi channel series from a few years back "Invisible Man". He's already Spike Spiegel.

and flcl.  yeah.

A few years ago, there was a huge announcement that Neon Genesis Evangelion would be remade as a live-action feature. A press release on that very subject was released jointly by ADV, Gainax and Weta, which did the special effects for the Lord of the Rings movies.

ADV even released some conceptual drawings for the upcoming NGE film. But nothing came of it other than the announcement.

One of my choices for a live-action anime (other than Eva) is a rather odd one: Please Save My Earth. The manga was an epic, but the anime tried to condense the plot down to 6 half-hour episodes. It could have been much better.

I want to see PSME done live.

Scandanavian War Machine:
i think cowboy bebop would be easiest to make into live action....except maybe some of the space scenes, ships etc. but with computers these days,  it prolly wouldnt that hard. samurai champloo would also be cool to see live action but i cant imagine any real people playing those characters. i can picture actors doing the bebop cast but for some reason i cant imagine it for champloo.

i'd like to see a sequel/spinoff/follow up /or something to FLCL done in live action, but i'd hate to see the actual show re-done as live action. i'm pretty sure that would be blasphemy of some sort.
