Imagine if all of those bands got together and just partied. That would be the kind of party I would like to be at.

Not for ego-centric reasons or anything -- like, not to brag about how I was at this amazing party -- but because it would probably be really fun and exciting and then later on in the night someone might pull out a guitar and there might be a bit of a sing along. I think that would be great to witness.

DFA1979, Alexisonfire, and probably others I'd think of later. But man your choices have made my brain stem all tingly.

The problem with inviting Aphex Twin is, he knows hot chicks, WITH HIS CREEPY GRINNING BEARDED FACE superimposed onto their bodies. I dunno how i feel about that.

Nah man, these albums rock.

If you've heard the Part Chimp too, which is a little more esoteric (and more intense) than anything else I posted, then

Can we get Lightning Bolt and Big Black in on the party too?

Edit: Assuming I've got the kind of music we're talking about right. Big Black should fit in. I'm less sure about Lightning Bolt.
