Sin City
(1/1)
Teh Xn.:
alright
going to see this movie, I was more than pumped, a whack load of huge names, a whack load of my favorite directors, and some bitchin black and white.
Seeing the movie made me go buy all the graphic novels, now i've been dying to see the next 2 movies they make
and to be honest, I don't think they'll meet to par
the next novel they are using is I believe, "A Dame to Kill For"
which is a good story, but I don't think I want to watch that much Clive Owen.
And the third movie they plan to make, include my favotire of the series
"Hell and Back"
and i've read everywhere that they are highly considering Johnny Depp to play as Wallace, which appauls me, I mean, props to him for pulling some god rolls, but he wouldn't suit Wallace
anyone else a sin city nut?
discuss this with me :D
Gryff:
Johnny Depp can play anything. He would be awesome as Wallace, all tripping like a bizarro ex-marines strong-silent-type Hunter S. All cool under pressure and delivering flying kicks to the faces of lizard-men.
I for one support this move.
Teh Xn.:
that's the thing
has Johnny Depp ever been in a real action like movie of any sort?
I don't think he has, but i've not seen a whole lot by him
PotC
What's eating Gilbert Grape
fear and loathing in las vegas
edward scissor hands
corpses bride
Secret Window
I think that's it
and he's been in plenty more I know
so yeah
I am highly against it
say no to Depp
Ravenbomb:
would you consider Once Upon a Time in Mexico an action movie?

whoa snap I forgot all about that movie!
I am Phils complete frustration
damnit, I saw that too, I dunno
it was pretty frommage, didn't compare to Desperado, He did a decent job in there, but that type of character is nothing like Wallace from Sin City though
ugh, he'll probably get the part, I could see him being interested in a part for Sin Cty.
Thing is he only ever takes parts he'd be interested in, so he's actually a great actor, not just sticking to one genre, and always changing.
