Against Me! are great live. I didn't like them, but I saw them open for the Bloodbrothers and was an instant fan. Lots of usual buzzwords like energy and stage presence except here it is true and awesome.

sweet man.

Their albums have gotten fairly weaker as they've progressed but I can not miss the band who did Reinventing Axl Rose.

agreed, tom is really damn funny what with his quips and things.  i have a recording of them opening for the blood brothers at henry fonda a few years ago if anyone wants it (pm me).  the other thing fantastic about am! live is that most fans are excellent people, who just wanna have a good time.  at most shows there are a ton of superdicks, not too many at against me! shows.

I'm hopefully seeing Eagles of Death Metal on Sunday with Peaches, any thoughts on either of them?

Saw them on Tuesday. Eagles were not really my thing, but they are very good at what they do. Their fans seemed to be really into it.
Peaches was amazing! I hadn't seen her live before, but she was so much fun. Also I didn't know JD from Le Tigre is in her touring band.

Sigur Ros are amazing live.  If you have a chance to see them, GO!  They are really really good.

Kwi:
Bright eyes, as far as musical quality goes, are spectacular. If you're a fan of Connor (which I'm sure some of you arn't) go.

From what I saw of Islands (when opening for Metric, who are good if you're into them, lots and lots of energy) they are perhaps the funnest band in the world to watch.
