Their music and their shows are two completely different things.
If you listen to Rammstein, you get some decent music. Not orgasmically good, not mind numbingly bad.
On the other hand, if you see them live, you get to see Till Lindeman sing... WHILE HE'S ON FIRE!

The best bits was when he was chasing the keyboard player round the stage with a flamethrower whilst the keyboard player was wearing a vest covered in pyrotechnics, and during Seemann when the guitarist suddenly took down his trousers to reveal a pair of speedos and then rowed around the moshpit on an inflatable rubber dinghy produced by the roadies.

Laibach them selves described Rammstein as Laibach for teens and Laibach as Rammstein for adults.
I rather like Rammstein, they're fun. Industrial rock rocking out.

I'm not a tremendous fan but I would like to go see them live if I got the chance because they look like they put on a good show.
I know a guy who is a massive fan of them. So much so, he has almost learnt German solely by listening to their lyrics.

I did that. Same way I learnt Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian from metal. That's why I can say 'MY SWORD THIRSTS FOR CHRISTIAN BLOOD' in Swedish but can't ask directions to the post office.
