GIMP!

i'm having trouble getting gimp to work on my mac.  when i try to download x11 it says that newer software already exists and it won't let me download x11, so i can't open gimp.  is there another way to get it?  preferably a simpler way?

Also, I have nothing to contribute. I have never touched a Mac. I have seen them, but I have not touched them.

Grab the install CD's and install all the extras, that did the trick for me on 10.4.6.

The GIMP?  The GIMP is not a real image processing program.
