Narr:
The song list has been officialized, too.  (I would hope so, this close to release.)

It has TROGDOR on it.  \m/

IronOxide:
This is probably a reason to get my PS2 fixed. That's super rad.

Blue Kitty:
Don't forget the Deathklok song in there was well

man, I half wish I had a PS2 for this, but I am okay with playing it at my local video game store

Storm Rider:
The licensed songs are kind of disappointing in my opinion. Avenged Sevenfold? Lamb of God? Aerosmith? Warrant?

I'm going to at least wait until more info about the 360 version comes out. Specifically, what songs you'll be able to download and if they'll be better than the ones on the disc. If it turns out they aren't any better, I may cough up for the PS2 version, but maybe not. I'm really disappointed with the song choice this time around. It really feels like for every great song they chose (Hangar 18, Institutionalized, War Pigs, YYZ, Madhouse), they decided to choose a totally awful song to keep the game from being too good.

Beast and the Harlot, regardless of if you like Avenged Sevenfold, will make an awesome song on Guitar Hero.  Seriously, it'll be fun.

There were songs I wasn't too fond of on the original Guitar Hero that ended up growing on me because they were just so fun to play.  I imagine this won't be too different.

And really, not liking a game for being musically diverse as far as recognizable songs go is kind of silly.  If you were making this game, and only included what you personally thought was worthwhile, you'd more likely than not alienate a large potential customer base.

I don't get the appeal of being a music snob.
